All vehicles are tracked continuously along the monitored road stretch by the Trafsense road monitoring system. Real time tracking of vehicles up to 200 km/h is verified. All lane changes and overtaking are detected, also vehicles choosing an exit.
The Trafsense road monitoring system updates all vehicle positions 65 times per second with 1 m resolution.
The Trafsense road monitoring system sorts all vehicles into three length groups, but does not perform a strict vehicle classification.
